SUWS of the Carolinas is designed to help treat the many psychological and behavioral issues that children and teenagers between the ages of 10-17 can experience.
We do everything we can to ensure that each one of our prospective students is a good fit for our program, and we generally base that decision on whether or not he or she meets our typical student profile. This profile is defined by the following issues that children and teenagers within this age range face:
- Low self-esteem
- Addiction and substance abuse
- Anxiety
- Family conflict
- ADD/ADHD
- Defiance
- Entitlement issues
- Depression
At SUWS of the Carolinas, we know that our typical student is sensitive and vulnerable, but we also know that he/she is resilient. Therefore, through our numerous therapeutic approaches and constant care, we will encourage each one of our students to get back on their feet and learn how to properly cope with their issues by obtaining and maintaining a healthy mindset.
