Therapy Dog

Willow is a certified therapy dog through Pet Partners. She lives with and works alongside Primary Therapist, Lexi Gross. Willow and Lexi provide therapy to the Luna and Bravo groups. Although Willow spends the most time with these students, she is quick to make a friend with any student around base who is willing to give belly rubs and booty scratches(or a part of their lunch). She particularly enjoys hiking with the groups, chasing after sticks in the creek, and borrowing student sleeping bags for a nap. Outside of work, Willow enjoys hiking, trail running, chasing rabbits and turkeys, and naps in the sun.

Back to All Staff

The wilderness therapy offered at SUWS was the dynamic solution needed to help my son with his behavioral issues. When my son left SUWS, he was completely changed for the better and also created new bonds and unforgettable memories! I can't recommend SUWS enough for anyone in a similar situation!
