Meet Our Clinical Staff

Jason Fredericks, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Originally from North Carolina, Jason Fredericks cares deeply about the health needs of the people of Asheville. He is a psychiatric physician assistant with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Northern Arizona University. He also holds a master’s degree in public health from East Carolina University.

Jason developed an interest in behavioral health during his psychiatry rotations at the Phoenix Veteran Affairs Emergency Department and with the Arizona state prison system. He is a member of the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Jason draws from his clinical experience in gastroenterology in recognizing the importance of all medical and mental health professionals. He works closely with each member of the treatment team to optimize a person’s care. Jason’s use of evidence-based treatment methods complements his collaboration with individuals regarding their unique situations.

Jason is happy to be back in North Carolina working to improve the mental health of the Asheville community.
