Gregory Narron, MD
In his 20 years as a psychiatrist, Dr. Gregory Narron has been involved in many community systems of care in Asheville, North Carolina. He holds a medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine, and his practical experience includes a psychiatry residency at the University of Virginia Health System. He also completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at University of North Carolina Health Care and is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Narron’s clinical experience led him to serve as medical director of an adolescent hospital program, a board member of a private school, and a psychiatric consultant to nonprofit organizations. He is currently a psychiatric consultant to private boarding schools, therapeutic boarding schools, and therapeutic residential communities.
Dr. Narron’s passion for psychiatry is evident in his work, and he believes that mental health is the key to true health. With training in both adult and child psychiatry, he uses a developmental perspective to address symptoms that present over a lifetime. Dr. Narron is pleased to continue serving the people of North Carolina by joining the SUWS team.
