Amber Chrans , MSW
Amber received her Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina, specializing in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Amber started with SUWS of the Carolinas as a Field Instructor in 2002, she worked predominately with girls and also spent time as the Graduation Coordinator. After her field work she went back to school. During this time she worked in a variety of residential programs with adolescents. She returned to SUWS in 2005 as a Program Supervisor with the Seasons program. Her clinical training has been in both the School Systems and Wilderness Therapy. During Amber’s time off she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two dogs Healy and Jacob.
